It is always a relief to have them rocking before hatch! Was a Wyandotte that was making all of the racket. Tiny peep is still working at it. Going to be tough working half the day while some are hatching tomorrow!

Oh, man. That's an adorable hen.My offspring opened the gate for me when I got home so he could tell me he heard peeping in the incubator. Tid bit early, assuming it’s the Silkie bantam/Sebright cross since the egg was no bigger than a quail egg
Soon it will be time to play...
“Who’s the daddy?!”
Here’s mom. She means business.

I feel like quail just POP out! Coming back to chicken chicks after doing several batches of quail, I find myself worrying more..."Come on little chick, you can do it...how long can it possibly take to get out of a shell??!!"At 12:12 P.M. The first chick hatched. At 12:43 I have 2 hatched, and the top of one zipped. Can anyone say, QUAIL are fun to hatch!!!!!
Oh, I have seen them struggle as well. Right now, I have 3 chicks. Wonder how many I will have in the morning. LOLI feel like quail just POP out!
