I’ve got one pipping on the wrong end too. Since it’s still early, I’m waiting. We have another pip -- *edit* on the wrong side of the egg... should we assist? Again, any information you can give is welcome!

I love our Muscovy. I especially like how quiet and friendly they are.I think once this hatch is over and I get a new incubator I'm going to try hatching Muscovy eggs. I hope I like them better than mallard derived ducks... Which I don't like at all and still end up with them.

I'm hoping I can get them to be friendly. I've had a lot of mallard derived ducks over the years and I could never get them there. They're friendly as ducklings, but once they get to breeding age they want nothing to do with me.I love our Muscovy. I especially like how quiet and friendly they are.
I'll take that over getting slapped for the millionth time. They have claws!!!
All duck feet are gross! Look where they live. The eggs and meat are very nice, though! They have claws!!!
But I have had 19 ducks hatch since March 15th so I don’t feel that bad about just these two on this hatch.View attachment 2596974
