Day 21 finished , only one hatched 8 more in incubator, no pips

Can you get him a couple of friends somewhere if no more hatch?

Hatching started around 10pm last night here we are less than 12 hours later!

My hatch was supposed to be 12 eggs, I hatched 9 out of the 12.

3 fresh laid: 3 hatched
3 refrigerated for three day: 2 hatched
3 were collected 3-4 days before: 2 hatched
3 were washed the day before: 2 hatched

Of those, the fresh hatched a day early, the refrigerated hatched a day late.

I haven’t read to the end of the thread yet so my apologies if this has been asked already. Did you pick 3 of each “type” of egg storage method for an experiment or did it just happen this way?

Well, the egg that's due today is dead. No change in appearance since the last candling, and no movement.

The egg due on the 10th has nearly filled out its shell now and was visibly moving when I candled this time, so looks like I'm in for another single chick hatch assuming nothing else goes wrong. On the plus side, I have some older chicks this time around and I can set up a brooder space where this little one can see them without being trampled so she at least isn't lonely.

I hope one more will hatch because i dont have anyone to have chicks now and due to covid sutuation in our contry there is no place to buy ...
