13 day old duckling with spraddle leg or pulled muscle?

I would get a bottle of B.Complex tablets as well—any brand. They are good for yourself to use. The crush easily and it is hard to over dose. I would use 1/2 tablet daily for the two birds sprinkled over feed.

Nutritional yeast is a great product but when one is already having leg issues the bcomplex liquid really seems to get them through it quicker. @CayugaJana

Will do! I’ll go look for it ASAP!

Try TSC in cattle dept it Walmart in human section or get the bottle of Bcomplex which ever you can find. We know especially the liquid gets to work fast.

What’s the dosage for babies? Should I put it in the water?

I saw some at my Dollar General store the other day. No sure if that’s a regional chain, but they have a decent supply of human vitamins

I’m in Canada so not sure if that exists here but I’ll have a look!

Okay next freak out...

Tony seemed to be breathing a little harder than normal and there was a tiny squeaking sound when he inhales. It wasn’t there this morning. And his body also moved a lot more when he was breathing but it was only noticeable when he was quietly laying down somewhere, which he also seems to be doing a bit more however he’s still active and eats and drinks and runs around with his sister when they have play time, and his appetite (especially with mealworms!) is still very good. Just not sure what’s going on with him. I also haven’t seen him clear his nose thingies (nareis? Is that their name?) today I’m pretty sure. I gave him a little bath in some warm water he definitely was excited and had a drink, but he hadn’t been “sneezing” into the water like his sister does often now that I have the new water dish.

Oh and as for diet, I’m slowly switching them to an 18% protein duck grower diet because they hit 2 weeks on Monday, they still get the 1/2 tbs of nutritional yeast (the expensive organic kind :lau) mixed in with their 1/4 cup of mash, and they’re on a variety of veggies (corn and peas from a can, tomatoes, cucumber, apple, parsley (for vit E), broccoli, squash), and today I scrambled them an egg as a little boost and gave them the crushed shell too. They also get grit every day sprinkled between their veggies.

I’m sorry for the long length of text, just trying to give as much info as possible. Am I overreacting?:oops:
