So if, I did all of the cooking, housework, carpooling, homework helping, etc. and worked a full time job, does that make me worth double?

Double???? Heck, it makes me want to ditch DH and get myself a WIFE!

At least you GET money. I've got the world's cheapest husband. He leaves me with the atm card and says if I need anything to use it, but then I get nagged and harassed for DAYS for buying groceries

Dang, I need to take out more life insurance on me, then! I'm also the do everything mom and work at least 40 hours a week.
I'm gonna show this to my DH and my 2 DS so they will know how valuable I am. Maybe then they'll appreciate me.

Sounds like my hubby .... everything around here falls under the category of "house work" and I work in the house - he only works out of the house off the property (except for the chicken coop which he has been building since May - when the first chicks got here and moved into the basement). Kinda ticks me off sometimes. But I have learned that if I want something done ... I might as well get the hammer, duct tape and some bandaids and do it myself!

Yeah, it's getting ridiculous around here lately. DH has been working 14 hour shifts 5-7 days a week. When he's home, he sleeps. If he's off work, he plays video games or b*tches the house is dirty

He might hate his father, but he sure is turning into him.
He's been 'working' on this chicken run for EVER and it's not even close to finished. His priorities are soooo jacked up. For real. I can't remodel/renovate/build this darn house myself watching 2 toddlers.

We are married to brothers! They sound just alike. I fall asleep listening to the music of Heart of Iron (the current favorite of his games). Even on days off he sleeps till noon, plays on the computer until 4 and then may work on the coop - if the weather is nice. It drives me to tears. But complaining just makes it worse. We have two toddlers also. As mommies we're supposed to be able to keep the house up, the kids happy, the herd fed and do the yardwork plus take on any new chores that come around. We bought this place about two years ago and the bathroom still has gold wallpaper and I have no real counter space in the kitchen so I can't hardly cook. I love living in the country but sometimes I wish we had bought a place all finished and done. The staaircase he promised to replace if I agreed to this place ... till is steep and not safe. It was supposed to be replaced. It feels good to vent!

Well, if they're brothers, you must REALLY love our parent-in-laws, because those killjoys are just oooooodles of fun
