13th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along
Fluffy Butt Photo Contest

Never enter the photo contests because your fluffy fowl won't pose for you? Your picture folder is full of shots of your poultry running away? Then this is the contest for you! We want to see fluffy butt shots ... of your backyard poultry. Enter your funny, family-friendly, fluffy butt pics of your poultry in their very best (worst) poses.

If you'd like some tips on how to take better photos - even photos of fluffy butts can be better - then take a look at these awesome threads:

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with fluffy butt pictures of your backyard poultry. This is a family forum so please keep it family-friendly!

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. All fluffy butted domestic poultry allowed (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, emu, etc).
2. Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of your fluffy butted domestic poultry.
3. Other animals may be in the photo, but the star(s) of the photo must be the fluffy butted poultry.
4. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
5. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC sponsored contest.
6. Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
7. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
8. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
9. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
10. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
11. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
12. Open to all BYC members.
13. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
14. Entries will be accepted through May 8th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Prizes

Place	Prize
First	$50 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 1-year PFM ($60 value) for yourself or a friend.
Second	$30 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 6-month PFM ($35 value) for yourself or a friend.
Third	$15 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 3-month PFM ($20 value) for yourself or a friend.

BYC Store Gift Certificates are available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States they will be awarded a PFM instead.

OK, so here we go. Let's start with the big ladies. Hattie and Aurora.

This may not be the best photo of them all but it holds great emotional attachment for me. This is Sansa (left) and Lilly (right). Sansa and Lilly were best friends from the moment they met even though Sansa was about 4 years Lilly's junior and way down the pecking order (Lilly is my alpha hen). They were inseparable and often spent the evening just like this.

Two good friends discussing the day. That great big worm they found and their luck at getting some leftover spaghetti.

Sansa passed earlier this year not having even lived 2 years. Lilly is probably nearing 7 years old now and I'm certain she has never had a better friend than Sansa.

I know that I miss seeing them together every evening.
