I have no reason to expect anything to happen to the eggs while I'm traveling. The 16yo has been thoroughly briefed on the care of the incubator, but I'm telling him that if he needs anything he should come here for advice.

I dug out the second incubator yesterday…..I need to get it up and running tonight so I can start putting eggs in lockdown! Calls are supposed to start hatching Thursday/Friday

Lost another Palovskaya egg and I think another is going. I think something is very wrong with this breeder. There's no way 1/2 should be infertile and the remainder unhealthy.

Bummer! Were they shipped? Could they have been xrayed or roughly handled?

They were shipped but seemed in good shape really. Only 2 detached air cells in a dozen eggs.

Yay!!! Better fire up the hatcher and brooder! We're cleaning up the brooder tower and getting ready for our first hatch since NYE. Great to have babies coming in again!
