13th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-Along

In my case, I will be able to identify *some* of the males because I have several cuckoo females and no barred or cuckoo males. Thus while not all my males will be barred/cuckoo, all chicks hatched with the headspot that indicates the barred gene will be male.

There are other sexlinks possible and some breeds are autosexing based on down color.

Few of my babies that hatched! All Easter/spring themed names too😊

Woah! My brother is moving from Truckee to the plains. I hear it's a nice area, but the 100F days would get to me. Really beautiful though. Hopefully the lack of rain in Jan and Feb doesn't have a significant impact on the summer's fire season.
Me too!
