Has anyone had their Blue Australorp pullets go lame and crippled in their first year? If so, were they from Privett Hatchery in New Mexico?
I've spoken with the Privett breeding manager about this issue and he swears there has been no such problem with the Blue Australorps after I told him that three out of the four pullets I got from TSC that originated at Privett went lame and were unable to stand, walk, or move after the symptoms began.
I have two other threads on this issue documenting the treatment I've been giving these pullets to try to save them.

I'm trying to figure out what this thing is that's causing these pullets' symptoms, and if genetics may play some role.
