Since we might be doing a "guess how many eggs were set" contest and possibly a "guess how many hatched" contest, I should not say.

Is it too late to join? I got distracted by RL, but I _did_ set 30 chicken eggs on the 18th at noon. Well, it might have been closer to 12:30... >.>

What breeds did you set?

We purchased eggs from a few different people so we had 2 incubators going. We set 20 duck eggs in 1 incubator, 15 of those are developing well. We set 12 duck eggs in the smaller incubator and only 1 of those is still developing well. We are picking up some local eggs tomorrow and maybe a rooster so we will have more of our own eggs in the future. It’s all a learning experience for myself and my kids, we are happy for every little baby that does hatch out !

Local eggs hatch much better!

Lets see, the hens are RIR and Barred Rock, and the roos are barnyard mixes. Got them from a local farmer.

I didnt see my name in the hatching list, just letting you know.
Also, from what I've gathered, eggs that hatch 4/16 count and I have some more that should hatch around 4/11, so they're okay to join correct? 16 eggs in total if so.
