1588 Hovabator

I ordered mine from there as well. I read on this forum that the LG turner will work in the 1588. I plan to then use the 1588 w/LG turner for the incubator and the LG for the hatcher.

This hobby is becoming very addictive very fast. I don't even have the first bunch hatched and I've already ordered another incubator and planning what I'm going to put in it.

How long does it take for you to get a reply back from G.Q.F? I emailed them thur. and its monday and i still have no reply =[

The turner in the 1588 genesis that I bought has 42 spots for eggs - 7 eggs per row, 6 rows - it was part of the package we got from Cutler Supply (I know, should have listened to Miss Prissy and gotten it right from the Manufacturer!).

Oh yeah, I fill up all of my spots, with the eggs I purchase first, then my favorite eggs from home (Leghorn hen/Cuckoo Maran Roo or Black Australorp Hen/Cuckoo Maran Roo) etc.

Have Fun!

Do you put them all in at once or do you stagger the batches? And, do you move them for hatching?

I'm still fretting about whether I can start with just ONE, which makes it affordable, or whether I need TWO, which isn't quite at the moment....

Thanks
