Hello All! We are back again this year, hatching at 3 different Senior Living Facilities in Wisconsin. This year we will set 60 eggs on the 10th of March to hatch on Easter morning.( We do this so the visitors for our residents can partipate with thier loved ones) they are a barnyard mix EE's and others...

Make that 8! I took two more from Curleys daughters nest. She still has 13! Yikes!

Ive got 4 dozen eggs ready to set on Saturday! Will tell y'all what they are when I set.

Yeah, go ahead and switch me over to a yes. No sense in denying it any longer. Not sure how many will actually develop this early in the year, but one of my coops seems to be producing plenty of eggs, so I should at least have something to set around the 9th.

Well, I am out. We had something come in and kill every chicken in the large shed coop at the farm…my guess is the auto-door didn’t close. Probably a weasel. We do have 10 (9 hens 1 rooster) in another smaller shed coop, but not ready to add anything until we figure out what we are up against. They are the older group too, so less eggs and lower fertility. How terrible.

My collection so far prolly wont do the top eggs as those are my project tolbunts and i already have more of those due the 11th so but gonna keep collecting silkies and my ee line for the easter hatch
