for 4 hours straight before I finally

If you want to.
Do we have to think of names for the G eggs too?![]()

Really? I would have thought that a Brahma cross would have more feathering on it's toesThe brahma in that chick is the reason for the light leg feathering.

We can name them things like "Temporary" "Notforlong" and "Adoptable"If you want to.
Those.... things.... are not staying here.
Egg Man doesn't even want any more of them! Beats me why he gave me the eggs to hatch, then![]()

Any idea on the single comb? This chick and its doppelganger both have single combs but the only feather-footed roosters Egg Man has are bantam Brahmas.
He has a frizzled black cochin bantam hen but not all of these eggs have been from her and I would think that a black cochin cross would be black.
Thanks! I appreciate your inputI think alot of crosses with feather footed breeds mated with clean legs get lighter feathering, but brahmas are already lighter than cochins anyway. I hatched some bantam cochins with a bantam Orpington father, and only the outer toe was feathered. But the single comb could have come from the cochin, if it was a cochin egg. I forget which combs are dominant.
color would depend what color the parents are too. I think light brahma breeds like dominant silver? Maybe? I'm not good with all that, but I had a light brahma rooster with production reds and all the chicks came out white or black/white like daddy.
