16 week old chicks- hen or cockerel?

Love their names, btw!

Please update here so we know as well as others searching the forum in the future.

I’m totally fine being wrong. Lol But my 2016 cockerels were crowing, fighting each other, chasing & pecking my kids, and had pointy & shiny feathers by 16 weeks when we culled them.
Now that the kids are older, we plan to raise this batch of chicks and keep two roosters in with the hens in the larger coop & run, and the remaining roos will live a celibate life in the bachelor coop & run separately. (They are all sweet so far! 🤞🏼)

Good luck!

Thank you the kids named them. Quite girly they are all boys! So far they are all very friendly and gentle. Jump all over you and run off from all our older chickens.
Either way I won't be able to get rid we've had them from babies and we lost the dad cockerel last week so we have a vacancy!
They are very very close at the minute also, wont go anywhere without each other.
If they are all boys I will make my husband either get more hens or make them a seperate home if necessary.
Thank you everyone for replying, i will definitely keep you updated on what they turn out to be.

Hi all, just a quick update on the chickens.
They are now 19 and a half weeks old and I still have no idea of sex.
None have tried to crow or laid any eggs, they are all still really close and timid of the others too.
I've added as many pics as I could get, they don't like me getting the camera out.

Thank you, yes I wasn't sure about frenchy I hoped he might have been a girl but never mind. They are all lovely, will have to get some more ladies for them now then.

They look like boys even to me now. 🤪 Thanks for the update! Please let us know when they crow (or lay an egg if we are wrong about Frenchy—though those neck feathers look pointy now).

Good luck with them!

Yes i just went out this morning and all 3 have buds starting where the spurs will grow. Oh well never mind, off to the market soon for some chickens then.
Thank you all for your help.
