16 week old chicks- hen or cockerel?

Yes i just went out this morning and all 3 have buds starting where the spurs will grow. Oh well never mind, off to the market soon for some chickens then.

Spurs don’t mean roosters. (Even crowing doesn’t, so I’ve read! But generally only a hen will crow if there’s no rooster. I’ve never personally experienced a crowing hen though we’ve had hens for years without a rooster.)
But back on track, my three year old egg laying hen Jasmine has spurs. I think all chickens have the bump. The ones I checked of my hens do anyway. Here’s Jasmine:

Hello all, Well today as I went to open the coop Rosie welcomed me with his first crow!!
He was actually very good for a first attempt, nothing from the other 2, I think Rosie will be the boss.
