Spurs don’t mean roosters. (Even crowing doesn’t, so I’ve read! But generally only a hen will crow if there’s no rooster. I’ve never personally experienced a crowing hen though we’ve had hens for years without a rooster.)
But back on track, my three year old egg laying hen Jasmine has spurs. I think all chickens have the bump. The ones I checked of my hens do anyway. Here’s Jasmine:
Spurs don't mean roosters, but hens usually only get them when they are older and often if there is no rooster.
Jasmine (she's really pretty by the way) is 3 years, like ours who developed spurs at 2 years.
It would I think be very unusual for a hen to develop spurs and so young an age and in the company of other roosters... you never know though!
Frenchy also has male feathering, he's a lovely-looking bird too.
