I had two 16 week old birds that were purchased together, living in a coop separate from my seven birds of mixed ages from 1-4 years old. One of the 16 week olds died suddenly today, the other is fine. I had been slowly introducing them all to each other. Now my dilemma is what to do about the remaining juvenile. Either I find her a friend of similar age, let them bond and then incorporate them together with the rest in a month or so, or try to incorporate her into the flock by herself, which I know can lead to other problems. Thoughts?
