I'm new at this. I have six 16 wk old RIR pullets that are just now getting their wattles. Combs are starting to grow a little and pinkin. I have my doubts about this one that my two year old named Black Rabbit. She holds her tail feathers up. She doesn't crow and her comb is small. Could she be a roo?

I'd say pullet.

I started out with rir's and have hatched/ sold a many chicks. Somehow 'straight run' ends up meaning I have a couple of roos to keep! At 16 weeks and with that comb/ small body- that, my dear is a pullet
