Mine is 6' wide, if you want visuals peruse my coop page.
Nest sticks outside of coop too, but not as far as yours will.
Feed fits nicely under poop board.
Is extra space in building for storage of chicken supplies?

Yes, storage for feed and other stuff as well as garden stuff.

Well the cool weather helped me clean my way to the back wall! I plan on insulating (insulation is future proofing) and covering the walls with OSB in the chicken area. Going to put a gable louver vent on both ends for now.



Chick season is over with for sure until February sometime so I have some time to get my coop in order.

Well I got one of the louver vents almost done today, should finish building the other one this weekend if I don't run out of wood.

JT, do you have a plan for this or did you wing it? My dad decided to buy me a shed rather than help me build a coop, but I know I’ll want to replace the standard vents with something much beefier like yours.
