Still wondering if the RIR's will get along with the Cinnamon Queens or not. If not I have enough room for each group except for the chicken yard which must be shared by both. It will be interesting for sure.

How many birds total......for your one 8' of roost?

I'm thinking 6-8 Cinnamon Queens, while I've see up to 8 RIR's on 4' of roost but usually they kind of spread around the 11' of roost. With 16 hens I'll just be floating in eggs most of the year lol. If I keep all 16 or so in there I'll have to expand the roost/poop tray.

Pretty much got the poop tray/table done. I'm wondering if I should put a small wall on the short open end so no one gets bumped off the deep end while the roost debate goes on. Anyone have any thoughts on that? One long side and one short side will be up against the walls with the roost running down the middle long ways.
