It's what Cackle recommends when they arrive to warm them up. I'm slowly reducing the temperature as I watch them.

Got down to 70°F last night in the coop so I turned the heaters back on this morning at 4 AM.

Yes they all look great.
Interesting they have taught themselves to just push on the nipple and drink as the water comes out. My Rhode Island Red hens have always pecked at the nipple.

If I can just find one smart one in my flock mine will use the nipples also lol

No it was 70°F on the deck and 50°F ambient.
Now it's 90°F on the deck and 70°F ambient.

The very first modification I had to make in the first 5 minutes they were flying out the door into my lap. So I cobbled up landing strip for them and put it on with some clamps.
