My 16wk old Grace is rather opinionated and aaaaawwwkkkks at everyone (especially if you try to be friendly). No crowing yet, and no eggs. She is has very prominent large floppy red comb and long wattles. I went to a local chicken focused ag fair today to spy other silver Wyandotte pullets a d hens her age, and her face looks nothing like girls even 6-8weeks older! Im within city limits, so sadly a roo would not vbe welcome. Ive got y fingers crossed, she's really a she!
OK lovelies: hen or roo?!?!? HELP! Look

Pullet but the single comb ? Wyandotte (rose comb)
Single combs pop up now and again, its outside the breed standard so the bird is not suitable for a breeding program but would be fine as a production bird/ pet

Thank you everyone!! The single comb was definitely throwing me off, and made me question gender despite her not having any other roo physical traits.

From her large red comb and chatty nature it looks like she's approaching egg laying.
