19 and a half weeks old and still no eggs :( egg countdown anyone??

I have a digital scale that is really designed for gemstones, such as weighing in grains or carats... but it does have a gram setting and it would work for eggs, but I ordered the one posted above by firewifejess... no batteries necessary... and it is a good price... i've been comparing

One word: SAND. Take a truck to your local dirt/rock dump and have them load it up with river sand. Fill your run with it and you'll stop having major mud issues. Added bonus? Free grit!

I second you...I LOVE having a sand run. It's like a giant cat litter box too.

Yesterday between 5-10 min after I turned my chickens out to free range, I found a first egg on the step to my turkey shack. Unfortunatelt it was cracked. Also don't know which pullet laid it. Just know it was a FIRST egg because of it's tiny size. Brown w/speckles.

Once my RSL's started (on Sept 4), I've had eggs from each of them EVERY day except one. They are marvelous producers!

My RSL's started the same day as yours... Yup, an egg every day from each of them, except for one day they took off last week.
