1st Cut Bark Slabs for Coop Walls?

I am very thankful I happened up on this thread. I am in the finishing stages of my coop and my siding is the rough cut, sawmill wood, as well. About 90-95% of the boards’ sides are squared off and over the course of the build the boards have separated some due to drying. Even though the coop will be insulated and have an inside wall, I want to close those gaps to keep out all things critter. I’ve been wondering what the best product would be to fill the gaps and have been reading about chinking, but now I’m wondering if this OSI Quad is really what I need. Do you have any input into my quandary, @jthornton? Thanks much!

Oh heavens no! This stuff is GORGEOUS and suits my rustic look perfectly. I can’t wait to post pictures of my “blood, sweat, and tears,” beautiful coop, aptly named The Chicken Chapel, on BYC.
Was partly tongue in cheek ;) ;) ;) ...and I'm more about function than aesthetics.
