This morning, I purchased a Little Giant incubator with a fan. This is what Zack from MyShire recommended to me when I asked him about it during his live stream last Sunday.
I also bought the quail rails for it. However, I did not purchase the auto-turner. So how's that going to work, you ask? I have a plan! I will make it so the rails can rock back and forth, probably with cardboard. This will probably prevent one of the rails from fitting in there, but that's perfectly fine, as I have no intention of putting anywhere near 120 quail eggs in there.
The idea is that I can open the incubator, tilt the rails really quickly, and close it again in just a few seconds. The rails are due to come tomorrow. I also bought a Govee to monitor temp and humidity. I will take lots of pictures of everything as I go.
In the meantime, I am also building an indoor aviary. I haven't started a thread for that yet, but I will soon.
