The dark one is fine. It perked up great yesterday. They are in the brooder with the rest of my chicks now- only 2-3 days difference in age. I watched them all for an hour when I first put them in , and the only thing I saw was the others thinking the Silkies' toes looked good. They were grabbing them and pulling until I kept pushing them away. After a while, they all got sleepy and laid down together for a nap. They are so cute! I'll post the pics soon- I have to get them into photobucket first...that's where I'm going now.
2 light ones and 3 dark ones popped out so far from Dipsy's eggs, and 1 light one from Cherndon, and 1 light one from KYsilkies/ Lots more eggs still in there, no pips though. I did candle them when I took these babies out, and I think I saw movement. I sure hope they get pipping soon.
I'm going to want SG and frizzle eggs next- none of the eggs I bought from another seller got even close to hatching. None of the frizzles in that batch even grew veins. I have 2 SG eggs in the hatcher, but they haven't pipped either.
