2 new black minorcas, any ideas?

I stopped into a feed store today and saw these two sad looking birds sold as 1/3 of the chick price. They’re in rough shape and very flighty. I was told that they’re 7 weeks old and pullets. Any ideas?

I'm not the best at IDing, but that feather damage looks like it might be from mites. Are you familiar with that stuff? I would look into it before introducing them to a larger flock.

They have been dusted just in case but i couldn’t find any mites. They are going to be isolated regardless though :)
 
Great. I didn't mean to cause alarm, they just looked like a hen I got that had depluming mites. If the feathers don't grow back soon, you can look into DP. They burrow in the skin so that you can't see them and require different medicine to treat it.

They are so lucky to have you. Thanks for giving these girls a home.
