2 week ol RIR mix - boy or girl?

Hello!

Wondering if this is a boy or girl. I think it's a speckled Sussex x RIR. It doesn't look like a pure RIR, does it (b/c of the eye stripe?) How about that yellow comb! So, is Poppy a boy or girl? It's 2 weeks old.

It's a little hard to tell when they are this young, but, just guessing, I'd say a boy.

I agree, I don't see pink yet but that comb is big despite the bird's young age. Keep watching it, if it turns pink soon... you have a boy for sure.
