Yes, and several other maladies. Once the belly fills with fluid it's pretty much the end of the line.
Ehh, I don't think so...any breed can have 'bad innards'. High production hybrids are actually the most susceptible to reproductive tracts diseases/malformations. Diet and overall health(many factors) has more to do with it...or just plain bad luck.
