Thanks! I miss that quilt already... lol. I get so attached to each one I make! Someday I'll get to make one for me (ok, so I have one started, just gotta finish it and quilt it).

Gumpsgirl, that's a pretty block! Great job for your first time!

That's another nice block from you Scrambled!

Everyone does such nice work!

Wild, those fleece pants sound cozy!

Acre... your quilt might be a while coming. I think the time has come for me to pack up my sewing stuff.

It makes me sad to think about it, but if I don't the sewing machine will distract me from doing things I need to do. I'm going to go through withdrawal, I think.

Beth - the worst part of moving is the dern UNpacking, I hate that!!! But the best part is arranging all the furniture and making fun stuff like new curtains and things like that - your sewing machine should be the first thing unpacked!

There it is... all packed up.

3 totes full of fabric, one bolt of fabric, a bag containing my unfinished quilt top (my first ever quilt), my book of quilt block patterns, my sewing machine all put away (first time it has been back in the cabinet since I started using it), my giant cutting mat (Christmas gift from DH... I love it!), etc. There's also a couple of bags of random sheets and other fabric in the other room, too. I guess I do have quite a collection!

I can't wait to start making curtains!!! That is always fun! AND it means more fabric shopping! Thanks... I'll focus on that instead of the sadness of packing all my sewing stuff up.

I almost forgot. Zookeeper, thank you. Both dogs have good sturdy collars with a name tag riveted on them with our address and phone number - I can't imagine that they could have both lost their collars. We have been checking at the pound anyway, though. I'm thinking about making some posters to put up around town tomorrow. My biggest fear is that they're never coming back... someone shot them, a coyote got them, or they got into it with the pack of strays I've seen around lately (the strays also tried pretty hard to get to my chickens). It will be a week tomorrow that they've been gone. It breaks my heart. I guess all I can do is continue to search for them and pray that we will find them.

Ok... sorry for hi-jacking the the thread. Back to quilting!

Beth, nice shot, and I went and looked at the pics of the new digs! I am definitely jealous! Hmm the basement would make a nice hideout for someone!

The quilt you made for your GMIL is beautiful, I'm sure she will treasure it.

Spent part of the day, shoveling the melting snow, moving some of the fallen branches from last week. Spent a few hours ironing fabrics, now to cut and piece for the blocks!
