thats the thing....i can sew straight lines...I never said anything about cutting straight...

I see some of these patterns and go

there is no way...

also I have an issue where I can read instructions a million times and still not get it.... I have to see it being done

LOL I'm the same way! But I finally figured it all out... I have to cut out the pieces and then pin them together about a 1000 times before I sew to make sure I'm doing it right!
But it starts to make sense after a while.. it's just shapes you learn in Kindergarten!

Join in, if you hate it, you can always not join up for the next month! lol

(and just make a simple pillow out of the block you get, hehehe)

So I have one block's pieces about half cut out... I keep getting distracted, though! lol. DH and I went for a walk outside because it is so nice out. Now I think I'm going to go spend the rest of the evening with him because he'll be on afternoon shift the rest of the week and I won't get to see him. Maybe I'll get some blocks finished tomorrow night!

Leepsy if your first name is Beverly then thank you so much. I got my block today and after the flu I had all last week it was so great to get a surprise in the mail. Thank you again I just love it.
