2013 Chicks Picked Out!

I just remebered another question I had to ask you, insanity! If you don't mind saying, how much was shipping for your chicks from MyPetChicken? Thanks! I couldn't figure it out.

15 or more chicks was 28-29 dollars flat rate. Fewer was like 36.50 but that varied by where you are.

Do they sex bantams? I only saw straight runs offered.
I don't believe so, no. I have never seen sexed Bantams at feed stores either so I don't know if sexed bantams is a common thing? Bantams don't make it here anyway so I never look. All ours have always died within a year (summer heat) so I just stick to standard size breeds. :(

That's to bad bantams don't do well were your at.MypetChicken does offer sexed bantams (for a price about 6.50 extra).It was worth it for me cause my convenience says no chickens and the neighbors would never tolerate a rooster. Nobody has complained about my hens yet but I don't want to push my luck.
 
Ok!  I have 2 out of the 3 breeds pick out!  Salom Faverolle, and Buff Brahama!  Still looking for a 3rd!  I'm getting them at Meyer Hatchery, (meyerhatchery.com) if any BYCer's want to help me out picking my 3rd and and final breeds go to there website and look around.  And the pick-up date has to be on March 18th!  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Just quote my reply.  Thanks!
orphingtons are really layed back and mine was such a nice layer used to lay a double or triple yolker a day.one tim even got a quadruple yolked egg.it wa the size of an emu egg.
