They might be give them more time to put on the leaves. I'd dig them up with a lot of dirt around them so as not to disturb the roots too much and put them in a pot so you can easily replant the tree where you want.

Those little leaves on top of yours look very similar to mine! I might re-pot some, but I have thousands of them growing! LOL

THey look like baby maples to me. But don't quote me on it. You could wait til the true leaves grow and then you'd have a better idea.
