2014 Hatchery Chick Orders

Does anyone no if you can track a shipment online for an order of chicks. I know all hatcheries are different, but do you know if Cackle hatchery does this?
Cackle does offer tracking

Once your package is in the system you can also option to receive email updates.

They sent me an email when the ship date would be? Is tracking number in that or do I have to call them and ask?
I place my order on 1-27 and received an email invoice that day. The next day I got an email verifying my ship date. I actually had a phone call from them because I ordered 2 sets of the same breed but they had them listed as 2 different types and they wanted to make sure that's what I wanted. I thought they were the same but had ordered them as both breeds 'just in case'.

I then received an email that a packing label had been created with a link to track the shipment. The link will then let you track your shipment once its been picked up.

The delivery date given to me by the hatcher was 2 days, the delivery date on the site was 3, with the delivery being on a Saturday. Our order came in on Friday, as per the hatchery and what it should have been.

I meant to say on the day that they hatched/shipped, is when to expect the tracking label.

I'm In SW FL and I buy fresh eggs from various sellers on CL I really do not think the egg police pays much attention to backyard breeders.
I have orders for a variety of chicks from Ideal, MM and Sandhill. I'm expecting them in April.
Except for Sandhill which will be straight run, I ordered all pullets because I am expecting some of them to be male. I honestly love roosters and their crowing is music to my ears! I live in the country and nearly everyone has roosters, so no complaints.
5 in the morning the air is filled with roosters crowing.

ok. Mine are being hatched/shipped out tomorrow. So I am to expect an email tomorrow. Thank you!
Sorry I wasn't clear on my first response, my kids kept talking to me...no one ever wants my attention until I start typing something or get on the phone

You should get an email pretty early in the day when they create the shipping label. I don't think you can set up for email notifications until the package has been scanned in for the first time but I'm not sure.

Good to know lol it's really ridiculous that it's an issue tho. I'm expecting 5 Roos and honestly I can't wait. My hens are a noisy bunch and I love hearing them at 7am :yiipchick

got a shipping reminder from Ideal earlier today about 6pm central time....my chicks will ship out tomorrow and should be here thursday if they travel like my last 2 orders from Ideal did. and i'm so glad the end of last week and all of this week have been very nice(high of 50* or more and lows no lower then 30*) and warm and melted all the snow and its gonna be nice till sunday which is good for getting these chicks...was worried i messed up and they'd be sent in the cold but no its nice out so they'll hope fully be good for their trip
