58 in one hatch is catching up fast. Last year I set my first batch January 1. This year I started later. Less in the house time!! I have a hatch a week set from here to whenever.... They sure do pile up.

I'm on my third hatch right now. Wife holding me back lol. We have only hatched 37 between first two. Roo is slacking and second was only13 silkie eggs. 100% on the silkies though.

I'm on my first hatch but I have big plans for this year. Gonna hatch some marans, olive eggers, cochins, silkies if these ones that I'm about to hatch start laying before the end of the year, and perhaps one more breed too. Plus ducks, can't forget the ducks. And I already have two orders for mix chicks. It's gonna be a busy year

Super plans here too. Each year my flocks get better. I have several orders, I have several 4H kiddos who need birds. I plan to start showing this fall. I hope my girls keep laying and the boys keep loving them

It's been mostly small hatches/trys. Barnevelders, silkies and some bantam cochins. I have my first 3 eggs of my first cross for blue mottled cochins in with 7 or 8 barnies and a few silkies this time. The fertility on the barnies hasn't been great so far. Hopefully by the time of the picnic it'll be better.

I have my first 3 eggs of my first cross for blue mottled cochins in with 7 or 8 barnies and a few silkies this time. The fertility on the barnies hasn't been great so far. Hopefully by the time of the picnic it'll be better.

LF? I have mottled and HERE are my very first blue mottleds!! I have very high hopes for this generation!

There is a split and a solid blue in there too. LOVE THEM!
