2014 New York Chickenstock

Get a 14 hand horse or a cob pony at 13 hands or so ....

Ponies are strong and can carry overweight adults ! Especially if you are merely pleasure riding. (no, I don't enable!)

yeah, I've got the horse virus ... and I'll help others learn to live with it.

Brella - one at a hatchery was selling for $50 per bird ! That is too much for me for a chick that has not survived to be an adult, but I know some people have worked with 2 diff breeds that give blue eggs -not a pot luck mix ... I've got the pot luck hens, so I'm not being a snob - but I just really want a few blue egg layers - I love a mixed flock of feathers, sizes and egg color. :)
When I get my own place my next horse may be a pony of some kind. I like short horses, Topaz is 14ish hands.
Also EEK on those bird prices. My EE/OE chicks are hatching next week! Duane my Dark Brahma over the EE/OE/ Red Ameracuana

I think that's why I want a Haflinger so bad. They're not so huge but stocky enough to carry someone like myself for some pleasure riding when wanted. Plus I just love their coloring-that golden brown color with the blonde mane, so pretty!
I agree, they're pretty much my perfect Palomino.

Also will have pure Maple Syrup from this year for sale by then.

o0! Maple syrup!

Quote: I would love to do pre-orders, as you said so much more simple!!

We sell Qts for $15 and Pints for $9 We usualy have Grade A medium and dark Amber.

I will start a list of who would like what. When we get closer if you would like to Paypal the $ then we do not need to worry about that either!

If you have extra maple syrup, I'd love to have one of each medium and dark!

Aces-- I know of someone looking for large fowl cochins any color. I think they are looking for started pullets or hens.

I am culling hard and planning to show this year. Just depends on hatching season and how many I keep. I would only bring started birds if they were pre-sold though.
