The fourth chick just hatched, he has internal pip Sat night, wasn't thinking of helping him since all the chicks which i helped before have died after that, some of them lived up to 3 weeks old. But Sun afternoon i decided to open a hole in the air sac like you taught me last year and left him like this for more 24 hours, and just two hours ago i got him out of his egg! He looks normal and surprisingly with fine toes, so far all the four green chicks hatched with fine toes, didn't help any of them.

I just set 2 eggs from my Purple BS Pied boy over a Purple split BS hen with a couple white wing feathers. I hope they are fertile!!!

I am so excited Paneliopy (nellie for short)my second peachick to hatch here in 2013 and is Patches sister is sitting a nest out in the woods, i knew she had one but could never catch her coming in or out fast enough to get the location, well i found it today, Cherry is going to be a grandma and i am going to be a great pea grandmaw

They are low percentage Spaulding Purple, all of them. The yellow ones are Spaulding Purple Black Shoulder of unknown sex of course because the moms are either Spaulding Purple BS, IBBS, or Cameo with unknown splits.

Congrats! Are the colored ones so bright in real or its just the lighting here? Because purple chicks usually are darker.
