Dotty a Isa Brown hen enjoying her new life. Dotty was once crammed into a barn, where she suffered from lack of care. But she was rescued, and is now very happy.

OK here is my first submission. Our back up rooster named Forrest, he is a Blue Copper Marans. Why is his name Forrest you ask? Because when he runs he looks like Forrest Gump. I am unsure why his eye is half black. he was hatched that way I think its some mutation. I have not noticed it on any bird so far in my flock.

Mr Forrest here is becoming popular with the ladies in his teen-ful youth, I have caught a few of the girls sneaking off with young Forrest behind Oscar's (head roo) back for a little scratch. You can see on his comb evidence that on at least one occasion where Oscar Goldman walked in. But behind all Forrest good looks & cattin around, him and Oscar are pretty tight. He submits to Oscar even though Forrest is twice his size. They sleep together side by side. I am waiting for Oscar Goldman to actually come out but that's another story. Id appreciate hearing anything about the eye color mutation gene if anyone cares to weigh in on it.
