I love the sexlinks for the eggs! Can't go wrong there. I prefer the Reds. An egg a day. Leghorns too. RIR's do well. I've heard a lot of people say, leghorns and RIR's are mean. Oh pooo..they are not! I have had the sweetest birds. Here is a photo of them begging for treats at the back door. They will click their nails against the metal part on the bottom to get my attention. I have white leg horns two the females our the greatest. The roaster gets testy If you're looking for a meat bird after a long run of eggs, eggs, and eggs, then the leghorn wouldn't be a good choice. Those sex links do get pretty meaty though, and do the RIR's.

So a week or so ago I ordered 12 long island duck eggs from a seller on ebay. I sent them a message a few days ago because after a week and no status updates I was getting worried. They replied with apologies stating that they had been in an accident which stopped them from checking on their ebay account. They said that they were instead of sending me the dozen I ordered send me 3-4 dozen and refund me my shipping charge plus send them 1 day over night shipping. I declined the refund because its not really a big deal to me. But OMG 3-4 DOZEN DUCKS! lolol we better get prepared. These will be my hatch along

Then Sally, you mentioned Dick. He is wonderful. I had ordered eggs. All busted up and what a mess! He sent me more..no charge. They didn't show up! So, he says, I'm sending you some chicks! That he did. SPR's. Yrs. ago.


And now, I have someone sending me some marans chicks when they hatch, because I had a bad hatch. Another person on BYC. Great people here to say they least.

Oh, I can do another...I lost a dog to a horrible freak accident, in our back yard, and almost in front of me, my back was turned away from him, but I was standing feet away.
When this gal found out, she offered to do a drawing for me. She asked me to pick out a favorite photo of me and this dog. I did, she drew it.

The drawing she did for me. She lives in Idaho, I'm in Utah, I've never met her.


I framed it, it's hanging in our bedroom.

Then I realized we now have to build a bigger house then we initially were going to lolol my man might make me sell some depending on how many hatch. But thats awesone you have had so mamy nice experiences with people on here im still new here but Im kinda getting a glimpse at how everyone is so helpful and nice

I love RIR too!!! Loving my RSL, I used to have leghorns, they were no problem what so ever.

Look what just arrived! 18 beautiful eggs (3 extra) and all safe and sound! This is my first time with shipped eggs, really happy with the quality! I should leave them to rest pointy end down for 24 hours right?
