Trying to think of cute contests..let's see..saw this cute candy dish..sort of dish, and thought, what if we have a contest where cute Halloween Candy dishes are made, photos posted of course, then most favorite voted for.

So... I love carving pumpkins. My daughter's birthday is right smack dab in the middle of October, so every year we have a birthday party involving carving pumpkins. We invite friends over to carve pumpkins (tho last year only the family showed up, her friends bailed

) and went to the haunted house put on by the Lions Club, and had sleep over as well. I know not everyone "celebrates" Halloween. But dang it, my daughter wanted an awesome bday party, and this would have been a good one had anyone showed up. Oh well. This year she's at a new school and has new friends, and we're going to try it again. At least my niece and daughter had a good time last year carving the dozen pumpkins.

Long story short: if there's a pumpkin carving contest, ping/message me! I will participate! Sorry... totally off track LOL!

I have one lone guy I'm waiting on. He's due tomorrow (hopefully he got the memo)

Oh my goodness! how could I forget this one! should we say it has to be FOWL related in some way or would that be too limited to what can be done? Maybe we shouldnt put limits on it?

Eggs are on the way, should be here on Wed/Thurs... Too egg-cited! My husband scolded me because I bought 2(+) doz from different sellers. 1 doz + of some mixed Marans eggs, then 16+ of the d'Uccle eggs from TJChickens.

Can't wait!

what great choices too! I still am not sure if I want to hatch out the crested Barred Rocks or buy NN or Showgirls, OR Olive eggers! ughhhh

Well he has to realize you NEED that many eggs it makes for a better hatch.

I need eggs. But I want to join you. I have an ISO ad at the hatching eggs forum. I'll probably pick up eggs between 9/27 @ Cobleskill NY and 10/2 when my bator will be done with the current hatch. If I can manage I'll be setting eggs 10/3. I love Halloween so this is right up my alley.

What breeds are you looking for? I am in PA.
Maybe someone on here can help! I love Halloween as well! And of course Christmas, hmmm and Easter... and then there is vacation in July!
