how is your wall looking? we are almost complete in our livingroom and back our hall!  I do have a question for when we get to our kitchen area, how did you plain/plane ??? spl down your boards? too lazy to look up which way to spell that correct,someone tell me please lol I had exhausting weekend working on this place, I must slow down.  Its Doc day for me, and test day and treatment day and I am sure to be yelled at ughh

It's coming along. I've been using a belt sander for each piece and I'm struggling with motivation to sand some more. What's done looks pretty good though.

I used a hand planer for it. It isn't perfect, as there is a little unevenness where I took a bit too much off. I'd do a few things differently if I were to do it again, but it works.

In California, All Federal and state offices are closed along with Banks.

The PO is always closed on Columbus Day.

I hope your eggs make it ok!
