2015 New York Chickenstock

Just joined BYC so I can keep up with info on chicken stock 2015. I am from Ava and only came across this event by randomly surfing Craigslist. Cant wait until spring and excited for this event.

Well then isn't it nice that the Chickenstock is in Ava? Can't wait to meet you. I'll be the old guy with the tin foil hat. Some of these folks are crazy enough to harbor Silkies.

I'm known around these parts as someone who speaks his mind.

Just know to build the biggest coop you can. Your working with chickens not sardines you know.

Oh and keep in mind don't listen to those Silkies. They'll have you housing hundreds of them. Be sure to wear your tin foil hat. I'll be posting these signs everywhere. Nasty buggers those Silkies are.

I am very glad my daughter will be away during Chickenstock - there will be no one to keep me from bringing home a bunch of new friends! Depending on how many ducklings my broody hatches out, I will likely be bringing Saxony ducklings. She's on 12 eggs at the moment, due to hatch in the next day or so...

I am bringing two small heated dog water bowls for the raffle. Dh wont let me run more power cords so I cant use them. Brand new.

I am going to be ordering from Holderread's if anyone wants to tack onto my order and have me bring the babies to Chickenstock, or come pick them up from me when they arrive. If anyone's in the market for really nice ducks and geese, I'm happy to add them on! Just let me know, I'm going to be mailing the check in probably later this week.
