My hubby thinks 22 chickens is too many now ..
Im thinking of getting just a couple of chickens  looking for blue eggs ..

We have a few easter eggers too. No pure ameraucana except the 2 roos.

I couldnt add this to the document of what is being raffled but I have two new heated dog bowls to offer for the raffle.

I will have heritage rir chicks available and possibly some silkie chicks as well. If anyone is interested in black sexlinks, let me know. They are a cross between rir roos and barred rocks. They are quite pretty and I can sex them at hatch. Roos will be free and dress out at a decent weight. They also are striking in color.

I can't make promises of what I will bring, but hopefully more than just myself and the Queen.

Oh I was thinking for three things to do with the kids.

Sack races, though I may have to make sacks. The ones they had at TSC wouldn't fit a small child, much less someone older. Maybe a three legged race instead.

Tug of war.

Tin foil hat making.

With prizes of course. I'll most likely hit the Dollar Store.

I'm looking for Welsummer chicks or hatching eggs. Does anyone have them, that might be going to chickenstock ?? I really would like to add some color to my basket !

So I think the documents on are updated and current now, but if I missed anyone give me a shout and I'll add you to them. In other news, I now will have a nice cock for my cemani flock, so, provided they take up laying again soon, I might even have started birds for Chickenstock along with the eggs, woo!

FYI, TSC is getting their chicks from Townline Hatchery this year. You can check their site to see what they've got as possibilities. TSC gets what they send so there is not telling what they'll get.

I'm not impressed.

Nutty is the wrong person to ask my baby is 14 and although I have grandbabies this grandma don't see them much between the fact that there momma and I work opposite hours and 2 of the 3 work opposite hours.

I asked you since you're the hostess. Whether there will be children to play the games I can't say. I thought to play it by ear.

However it would be good to see some adults doing three legged races and such.

Another game I thought of is "Kick the Silky" It's like Kick the Can but you use a silky instead of a can.
