Couldn't help myself!

Hey, if you are getting your Peaches this weekend? Make sure to take pics and post them in that Peach thread, I am curious as the Peaches/Cameos I've seen appear to be almost opposite to what FBC says are Peaches/Cameos. I think we all need to see more of each for comparison.

Do you think the outer membrane could have been damaged so much that it allowed the albumen to ooze through the pores in the shell? It had no smell, I stuck it right under my nose and sniffed!

Anything is possible I guess. Might also have been a defect from the hen?

We are going up on Thursday and the trio is Peach Silver Pied yearlings, I don't know it that will help the thread much, but you know I like to show off my pretties so you betcha, I'll post some pics. I'll ask Brad if it is ok to take some pics of his Peaches. The prediction is for nice weather Thursday. Also getting a couple of other pairs, one yearling and one two-year-olds. Had good sales last weekend, sold six more yearlings and still have two other parties wanting to come out for another seven birds.

I too was confused with Frenchies post, got me thinking I have a whole slew of Peaches already..... I don't think I do, but there is something different about my Cameos that don't seem to conform with what I see posted.

X 2 when I had those green peafowl eggs I kept them in the incubator without realizing or wanting to accept that they were no good and one started oozing around day 24 and it was definitely amber colored and smelly! Luckily it didn't explode on me!

Of the 7 eggs I had in the incubator I threw 2 of them out. The other 5 I am not sure what to make of. Right now the peachicks are jelly bean sized but some of the eggs seem darker inside than others. I started them all the same day so that is what confuses me. All 5 appear to have a chick inside but 2 or 3 seem to have dark areas. I am not sure if that could be just stains on the egg that make it appear that way as some of the eggs got wet and thus stained from some leaves they were sitting on, etc. I am about to go turn the eggs. By the end of this week I will probably do some more candling. Today is day 15 of incubation so I still have a ways to go.

So the eggs I set last Friday I candled last night and could see nothing indicating development!?! Hoping it's just early but she only layed 4 that I'm aware of. Sooo!!
Give them time i can see veining with a good high powered light at day 7 but day 10 is the time i can see them real easy, you are only on day 6
