and it was a white one. So it looks like it will be 10 of 16 if the last two zip out okay.

Okay... so today is day 27 for the next batch of nine. Two are pipped externally, but the other seven look dead to me, though I will give them more time. Interestingly, the two that pipped have lost 16% and 20%.

I think I'm done with eggs hatching. The final eggs were suppose to hatch tomorrow. I'll give them until the 25 and then crack them open. I had a peachick hatch this morning, noisy bugger. It woke me up at 4:30 AM since it kept stumbling, and chirping. The other peachick that hatched Saturday is fully active and running around. I find it funny seeing peachicks practice fanning.

If I have no more peachicks hatch out from my incubator then I would have hatched out 5 eggs out of 8. 5/8 = 62.5% Hatch Rate! I think it's pretty good. What is considered good for a hatch rate for peafowl eggs?

That is good, congrats! Also nice to see your math skills developing.

Here is a chart that shows the weights of my chicks:

As you can see all chicks start off about the same, then lose weight for a few days. The black line is Crookie, who has had a hard time eating and is a little less than half the weight he should be. The gray line is also one I'm keeping an eye on.
