I do enjoy your updates! Only 15 eggs to fill your incubator??? I wouldn't know what to do.. I've had 100 in mine before.

Puddle place news... The older pairs are fertile. I'm not sitting Squishy and Fred's as there hasn't been a market for them. The two younger girls are iffy on the fertile part.

Yes you said that before about the 100 eggs. Wow imagine that many goslings! 15 is the max of goose eggs in the Brinsea polyhatch incubator but my 3 female African geese would never produce 100 eggs :L
Looks like after taking their eggs they are starting to get broody :)
I want to see baby Squishy's!

8 out of 10 eggs are developing. Not bad. Got my Fingers crossed that none quit. All of Stormy's eggs are good, can't wait to see what her the white gander can produce maybe I will get another blue or an outrageous pied.

Here we go... 7 eggs as of today from our Chinese white and Tufted Roman pair ..

Last time I hatched was a few years ago so I'm reading the guide to goose hatching to familiarize myself with the process .. I am going with dry incubation until day 14 and then mist with water once a day. Hand turning 3x a day. She should be laying again in the morning so I'll start with 8 eggs and maybe add one more Thursday. The oldest egg is 15 days, to old I'm sure but will try anyways. Plans changed, I thought I would let her brood but plans again changed so I'll be raising this bunch

Question: as you can see a few of the eggs are a bit dirty, should I wash them all??
