One thing that really bothers me is that the leading influencer, the media, is playing favorites. For example, I use bing as my search engine. Everyday, they post news articles. Every single day they list all these independents and Republicans that are endorsing Clinton (ignoring the hundreds of Democrats that are endorsing Trump). And every day they post articles like, "Trump is closing his casino," "Is Trump faking it?" "Is Trump dropping out?" Not only do they do that, but bing takes things out of context all the time. For example, Trump said, "Hussein was a terrible person and dictator, but he did a good job of taking out terrorists." This is literally what bing said, "Trump praises Hussein and calls him 'good'." Are you kidding me? That's deceptive...
Also, the second leading influencer is celebrities...we all know they are liberals.

I can understand the media praising a candidate, but news websites shouldn't praise a candidate and throw the other under a bus.

Unfortunately that's the way with American Media. Whatever is considered "hot" will flood the airwaves. For a while it was Hilary, with the e-mail leaks and firing of the DNC chair, this week it's watching Trump self-destruct. Who knows what it will be next week.

Probably scandals with the Olympics.

What I hope, is that with all the bickering, scandals, accusations and dissatisfaction is that neither of them win, and the election goes to some third party candidate. Like a Green, for example.

You know, it was only a few years ago that the two major parties were associated with a "color". Republicans red and democrats blue. The red designation for the republicans was supposedly coined during the 2000 presidential election by a news commentator by the name of Tim Russert who was a democrat. I've often wondered why "red" when for decades we referred to the communists as "reds". I wonder if Russert intended this as a slight to the republicans and stupidly they let it stand. We'll never know whether Russert had a hidden agenda by the "red" label...he died in 2008....I'm not sure if his death had anything to do with the Clintons or not.

Just a thought from left field....

<Snip!> Sad thing is that people in socialist countries think socialism is great...until it's too late and they see all their freedoms and hopes have evaporated for the "people's cause". Next stop after socialism is...????
Are you sure you're not confusing socialism with Communism? The way I understand it, socialism means that everyone pays into a government system, which in turn uses those funds to provide basic support evenly throughout the populous (at least in theory). That's an economic system, not a political one. IOW, Like the socialized medical system in the Scandinavian countries.

The last I heard, no one is losing any of their rights or freedoms in Denmark!
