That's great news on your friends sebbies and the video is fab! A beautiful little embryo moving around in there clear as day!I have a friend that will have sebbie babies when we get back. They'll be about 2 weeks old but I already said we would buy themso we will have at least 2 babies.
But definitely only one egg progressing. I can't upload a video here but it's on YouTube!
Hi and welcome!! Funny seeing you hereHi!
I've got 6 SQ Grey African eggs in my Brinsea (currently day 4), so I thought I'd pop into your thread (if it's okay with y'all). It's my first time hatching geese, although I have hatched plenty of ducks before, and read through the 'Goose Incubation Guide' article.
I've got temps at 37.5, humidity at 50%, plus I'm cooling and misting once a day (aswell as weighing every few days). Does this sound okay to you guys?
Also, how long does it take for Africans to hatch- from what I've read it varies from breed to breed?
Thanks,
Charlotte
No, I suppose its possible I'm mistaken about what I was seeing. It looks like a triangle shadow going up into the air cell, but not a lot of movement or sounds. I'm not going to worry just yet though.
