2017 Gosling Hatch a long!!

Pics
Sitting for 2 hours is not brooding eggs. They aren't starting to form in that little bit of time so there's nothing to worry about. When they sit to brood, they will stay all hours of the day & night and position themselves like they are ready to pounce.

Mine just still aren't laying at all, ugh. I'm wondering if the geese in this area just haven't started laying yet or if it's just my brats. I'll have to look back and see when they started laying in previous years.

I told my younger girls if they didn't let me find their nests or at least start laying in the goose house, I was going to find them new homes. They just ignored me, holllow threats lol

So they don't rot when they don't stay on them? Yea! I was thinking I have worthless birds and that's why they were so cheap...all 3 for 40.

I locked mine in the coop and run for three days just to be sure and nope, no eggs, the brats, lol. i was hoping to set some for the Easter hatch-a-long but they're not cooperating.

Here are the little Easter Bunnies. 15 days old & to my surprise were in & out of the nest and all over the cage this evening. The spotted one is a little shy so it didn't quite show itself for pics.
