For my singleton... Dipping its beak in water was unsuccessful. What worked was scratching my finger in the water to get her interested and she finally drank on her own...

I've dipped his beak in the water, scratched and tapped at the water, and he won't drink from it. I even tried floating some food on top of the water and he took one bite for the food, realized there was water, and wouldn't go back to it again. I've been making him drink water droplets off of my fingertips. I thought maybe he doesn't like the electrolyte flavor so I tried plain water. Didn't work either. Stubborn little guy... most likely is a roo!

Thanks, I don't have any tho. At least he finally pooped. He is eating, and he once went over to the water and pecked at it so I hope he starts drinking by himself soon.

Congratulations to those others with adorable little fluffy chicks! I have 2 more eggs pipping now. Hopefully one does hatch before I go to bed, and the other will most likely hatch tomorrow morning.
